Speech-Language Pathology Services

Whether we are trying to get our basic wants and needs met or are challenged by a stuttering or voice disorder, the ability to communicate is invaluable to us all.

Northeast Hearing & Speech is here to help.

Northeast’s Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) work with young children at the center and in many preschools throughout the greater Portland, Maine area.  Our SLPs work with children with speech and language delay, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Down Syndrome, and individuals across the life-span with speech and language problems, stuttering, voice disorders, neurological disorders and brain injuries to improve speech and language skills.

Our Speech-Language Pathologists all possess the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), with further certification in LSVT®LOUD, Interactive Metronome, and other specialty services.
